Able to program a persistent sort?

Is there a way to note that a colum should always be sorted so the editor does not need to periodically manually sort the sheet?

Consider keeping the list as it is

And run an associated report for the sort sequence you wish....

 

You can still edit fields from the report, and it will give you the sort you desire.

While we don’t have a way to automatically sort sheets and keep them sorted (I’ll add your vote for this), the workaround Christian mentioned will work as a way to keep your information sorted each time the report is run.

I second Andrew's request for there to be a way to retain a sort in a sheet.  I know it works in a report as you all state, but having that feature in a sheet would be great. -Dave
