Conditional Formatting Question?
Hello!
I'm very new to smartsheets and have been using them for probably 6 months and I have to create a sheet with conditional formatting where the date drives the coloring of the entire row. I've watched the video's and searched Q&A, however; I feel like my questions are specific to the work I'm doing. Is there any other place that someone can point me towards to review more topics like this? Thank you!

Hi Dana,
Can you describe how you'd want it to work?
Have a fantastic week!

Andree,
Thanks for replying back, I appreciate it.
The picture shows how the date 'Last Activity Date' drives the color coding. Within the 10 business days, Green. Business day #11, Yellow. After 15 business days if the Yellow 'Last Activity Date' hasn't changed, the row turns Red.
Thanks,
Dana

Happy to help!
Try this.
Add another Symbol type column and select RYG and add the formula below to that column.
Use the RYG in conditional formatting to change the color of the rows.
=IF([Last Activity Date]@row <= TODAY(-16); "Red"; IF([Last Activity Date]@row <= TODAY(-11); "Yellow"; IF([Last Activity Date]@row <= TODAY(-10); "Green"; "")))
The same version but with the below changes for your and others convenience.
=IF([Last Activity Date]@row <= TODAY(-16), "Red", IF([Last Activity Date]@row <= TODAY(-11), "Yellow", IF([Last Activity Date]@row <= TODAY(-10), "Green", "")))
Depending on your country you’ll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.
Did it work?
Best,
Andrée

Dana,
Once you add the RYG column as Andree suggested, you can build the conditional formatting off of that.
"If the Symbol column equals "Red", then turn the whole row red"
Same for yellow and green.
