Creating Governance and Structure around SS Implementation

Has anyone established best practices/documentation around governance and incorporating Smartsheet into existing operations?  If so, would you be willing to share anything you've developed and/or talk over the phone?

Thank you,

Dean

  • Hi Dean.  I'm happy to help.  Before coming to work at Smartsheet, I worked for a consulting company.  We adopted Smartsheet into our existing operations -- especially as it relates to any customer deliverables.  Before I left the company, our leadership annouced at an all company meeting that any deliverables from another person at the company should be in Smartsheet, or we shouldn't expect them to be completed.

After seeing Smartsheet adopted into a number of customer environments since then, I would certainly say that there's no "one size fits all" approach but there are best practices.  Can you provide a little more context to your scenario so I can ensure I my answer is relevant?  What type of operations are you looking to run in Smartsheet?

  • Hi Dean, I'm curious if you came to any conclusions about your questions? My team is also in health care, and I'm looking into more effective ways we can use Smartsheet. I would love to hear some advice from a similar organization.
