Feature Request: Preserve Formatting During an Import
When importing a file into SmartSheet, it would be extremely helpful to have a "Preserve Formatting" option. This will save the user much time in having to make the sheet look visually similar to its excel (etc) counterpart. This will also keep hidden rows/columns hidden, fonts and colors preserved.

FYI Tarun,
SS will only import font colors if the original file is .xls, not a .xlsx.

Thank you Brad. That is a helpful tip.

FYI Tarun,
The last update is supposed to improve importing of fonts and colors. Haven't tested it, but it sounds like progress.

Hi Tarun-- I just checked the notes from our most recent release and it looks like this release included a fix for the bug that was preventing Smartsheet from importing font color and size from .xlsx files. Have you testing importing an .xlsx file in the last day or so? If not, please give it a try and let me know how it works for you!
