I have two columns, assignee and status, that I am trying to use the Countif option on.
I would like to count based on a specific assignee and specific statuses.
If Assignee = A and (status = B or C), then count.
Try something like this...
=COUNTIFS(Assignee:Assignee, "A", Status:Status, OR(@cell = "B", @cell = "C"))
I attempted to use this query but am getting an #UNPARSABLE error.
=COUNTIFS(Assignee:Assignee, "Sarah McMorrow", Status:Status, OR(@cell = “Completed", @cell = “Completed - Bug Found"))
I can't remember the exact names for the different types of quotes (smart quotes and not-smart quotes?). Either way... You have 2 different types of quotes in your formula. The oddballs out are the quotes immediately before each of the words Completed.
Try retyping it directly into Smartsheet. That should work for you.
You are amazing - thank you so much. I had been spinning my wheels for far too long!
Happy to help!
I usually build my formulas directly in Smartsheet, but I have seen suggested that if you are going to edit a formula (using find/replace for example), Word tends to put in the wrong quotes, but Notepad works when copy/pasting.
I am trying to replicate a Kata chart in Smartsheet and need help.
I have an automation set up to email certain team members if values change on a sheet. The trigger is set to Daily so that it doesn't send them a bunch of emails every time I add data. What I want to know is, at what time do these usually run? I want to make sure that it is not sending out the email before I have finished…
What is a formula to count the # of tasks that are overdue, based on a date?
