Pasting hyperlink cell from Excel no longer working

Until today, we were able to copy a cell from Excel that had a hyperlink, and paste it into a Smartsheet cell and it would maintain the hyperlink. This has stopped working today. It pastes the text, but not the hyperlink, and this is a critical component of our workflow. We use Chrome as our browser and have never had this issue before. Please advise.

My hyperlinks are being merged, duplicated and having <ahref= added to the beginning of some which makes the links unusable. Is Smartsheets not able to handle multiple links in a cell? Please advise asap.
