Feature request: Column for tracking time automatically

Smartsheet should add a standard column. Initally it includes a button syaing "start". When pressured on, a clock starts running in the background and keeps on running until one press the same button ( displaying the accumulated time for the task) or until the same user press another "start" button in the same or any other smarsheet the user has access to. The user should only be able to press the start/stop button in lines the user is the prescribed resource. 

 

The would make a great time tracking tool would make people commit even more to the tool. 

Important that one user cannot have multiple taks active at the same time, so the feature of stopping one timer when another one is activated is vital.

 

Would be like integrating TaskForce and Grindstone into Smartsheet.

    Thank you for the feedback - we've talked about implementing a Start/Stop timer in the past - I will follow up with the Product Management team to see if this is on our roadmap.
