Customize look of Web Form
Is there a way to create a Web Form that has fields side-by-side instead of the vertical layout? For example, can you place three fields beside each other and then have another row of fields on the form that would appear below that? I can see how to add / subtract fields but they appear to always be above/below each other and if you have a lot of fields to fill out, the form will be very long. I'm just trying to utilize some of the empty horizontal space.

Scott,
not that I am aware of. The only option of putting data horizontel is if you have multple selections on a question, you can list the answers in a horizontal radio button format.

I would agree with Scott that this would be a good functionality to have.

I think Google Forms also does not allow side-by-side layout.

Anyone know differently?
I haven't tried 123 yet, but it is on my ever-expanding list.

I am a new Smartsheet user and we are trying to use it to duplicate an industry standard form. In this industry, the users of this form expect to see the fields in a certain way and we have good reason to believe that the data accuracy will suffer if users are presented with an entirely flat format. By flat I mean that there is no graphic indicator such as font sizes indicating question hierarchy, no way to group questions together into sections of related questions with boxes or headings. I can achieve this kind of functionality in Excel (with considerably more work) but I would much rather have the ease of use of Smartsheets. Please help!

Hello,
Is there any progress in form formats and have them in different formats other than Vertical?
Thank you
