SUMIF condition

Hi guys!

I have to calculate average in my sheet and I will use: SUMIF / COUNTIF

- COUNTIF formula is working.

- SUMIF formula is not working, i am getting #INVALID OPERATION

The SUMIF formula is (screenshot attached) =SUMIF([Assigned to in Region]8:[Assigned to in Region]136, "Sarah Mabiletsa", [Quote Prep Cycle time]8:[Quote Prep Cycle time]136)

The Assigned to is a contact list column

The Quote Prep is a text/number column (the numbers are coming from a formula)

Can someone help out?

Hi Fede,

First thing I recommend you check is if the value coming from the formula is recognized as text or a number.

You might need to convert it to a number with the VALUE function.

Remove the VALUE function from your SUMIF formula but leave it on the RFQ Sent - RFQ Received formula.

Thank you Paul - it worked out.

The SUMIF / COUNTIFS worked in another sheet, with references to the original one, no need to use VALUE.
