Count days

I'd like to track the number of days that my entries are in the same status on my grid. For example, I have 3 entries, and I'd like to track the number of days each entry is in status 1, status 2, status 3, and so on. What formula would I need to accomplish this?

You would (for now) have to manually enter the dates for the changes and track that way. There is talk of timestamps for specific actions being in the works, but until then it would have to be a manual task or automated through the use of the API or a 3rd party tool such as Zapier.
