Hello
I need to add multiple columns that allows us to input the "on site date", - "Manufacturer Lead time" - "Drawing Approval" = Drawing start Date.
Screenshot as below.
Appreciate any help to solve this issue.
Regards Daniel
Hi Daniel,
Not sure this is what you wanted.
Try something like this.
=[On Site Date]@row- [Manufacturer Lead Time]@row- [Drawing Approval]@row
The same version but with the below changes for your and others convenience.
Depending on your country you’ll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.
Let me know if I misunderstood your need!
Have a fantastic weekend!

Hello Andree
thanks for this, doesnt seem to work but this could be down to the column properties.
on site date = Date/time
Manufacturing Lead time = ???
Drawing approval = ???
Drawing start date = Date/time
sorry new to smartsheet and formulas.
When dependencies are enabled only one start date, one finish date, and one duration column can be used. To have multiple durations factored in to a task, you will need to break each part down into a child row of the overall task.
If you are wanting to keep everything in one row, you will need to convert your durations into a number of days and then use those for your calculations.
For example... If your first duration is 2w and your second is 4w, you would need to convert them to 14 and 28 respectively and then use the 14 and 28 to calculate your dates.
Hello Paul
thanks for this, i understood what you are saying so the last paragraph is something i could use, but how would this be reflected in column required and formulas to make this work.
This works now perfectly, thanks for all your help.
Glad you were able to get it working. Happy to help!

From my research, I understand there isn't a way to keep formulas when exporting from Smartsheet into an Excel document. I have a total of 50 columns with formulas and would think there was a quicker way to grab the formulas. So far, I've appended a "!" which turns the formula into text which does export. However, I'm not…
I currently have 14 sheets with the following columns: Batch # and Reviewer I use an Index Distinct formula to acquire the unique batch numbers from all 14 sheets and put them into 14 columns on the 'metrics' sheet. I then use another index distinct to get a list of all the unique batch numbers into one 'Unique Batch…
