Conditional formatting on linked date cells

Hi,

I have created a sheet with linked date cells from another sheet but have found that the conditional test 'in the past' does not seem to work in the linked cells.

I assume this is a current limitation or has anyone got any ideas to resolve this?

Jacky,

The cell is linked, not just the data.

Put the conditional formatting on the sheet the data is linked from.

Hi Craig,

Thanks for your feedback. Interestingly the problem seemed to be with my first row. I found when I linked some other cells in subsequent rows the conditional formatting was working.

By deleting the original link and recreating the link the problem went away. No idea why but problem solved.
