Control Access to a report based on status in separate sheet

Hi everyone,

I'm creating a training portal with a series of tasks for users to go through. I'd like to grant access to a specific report based on a user successfully completing two initial tasks. 

The first tasks are as follows:

1)  Open a report to [a] check a box and [b] change a Harvey ball.

2) Fill out a form. 

Task 1 updates that users information in a database I keep (also in Smartsheet).

Task 2 adds that user to a separate sheet ("user list") which references the database to ensure they completed the first task. 

For users that successfully completed these first two tasks, I would like them to be able to access a report (let's call it "Control Report" for sake of discussion) which pulls from a separate sheet ("training sheet").

I am struggling to find a way to make the Control Report accessible to *only* the users that completed the first two tasks. Furthermore, I'd like there to be no manual steps required to grant access.

I'd greatly appreciate any insights on how to accomplish this.

Hi Dan,

Does it have to be a report? What's in the report? Would it work to send a link to the report?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
