Workflow to create an automatic update request

Hi everyone,

I have a sheet with all the projects from my site supervisors. I'm sending them a weekly update request to find out the hours worked, incidents, etc to be filled on a form. I created a workflow but it did not work properly. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. See attached picture for more info

P.P.S. I did worked the first time but I had not deleted the manual requests that were there. So I think the manual request where what worked.

    Hi,

    First, make sure that you have allowed yourself to receive notifications properly in your Personal Settings (circle/profile in the upper right corner) and secondly check the Permission.setting for the Automations. (cog in the upper right corner in the Automation overview)

  • I ran into this as well and Andrée is correct.  Changing the permissions from the default Restricted to Limited (see screenshot below) corrected the issue.

    Smartsheet's recommended best practice is to be careful with the Unrestricted setting if your sheet contains any kind of sensitive data.
