Gantt chart timeline settings
I have admin access and have set the Gantt settings on a particular sheet to
Primary heading: Months
Secondary heading:Weeks
I have shared the sheet with another user and given them Editor - can share permissions but they are seeing a different view on the Gantt chart. Why is that?
What do I need to do for them to see the same Gantt timeline?

Hello,
I understand that someone you shared your sheet with is seeing a different timeline display than you have set up for your own view of the sheet. A newly shared user to a sheet will see the default Gantt timeline display (with Weeks as the Primary heading and Dates as the secondary).
Anyone shared to a sheet can adjust their own timeline view. In your case, the Editor shared to your sheet can click on the “Zoom Out” icon in the top-right corner in Gantt view to zoom out and see Months and Weeks instead of the default.
You can read more about this in our Gantt Help Center article.
Thanks!
Genevieve

Thank you. I will let them know.
Do you know how they set the Gantt to open on todays date? I've set the sheet option to open on todays date but that is not working for them either.

I looked into this and found that a sheet not opening on "Today's date" in Gantt view for shared Editors is a recently discovered issue. I do not have an ETA on when this will be fixed, but our developers are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it.
