Sending a row-with hightlights?

Hello,

When I send a row to someone in my contacts, I want the information that was been recently changed to be highlighted (to alert the person of the changed cells when the sheet is quite large). Is there a way to do this? I have the "Highlight Changes" on, but it does not show up in what is emailed.

Hi Lindsey-- It isn't currently possible to modify the emails sent via "Send Row" in any way, but I've added your vote for this to our enhancement request list!

Lindsey,

I get daily emails from seveal dozen sheets based on Notification - any changes.

Most of those do not have Highlight changes on but all show what has changed for the day.

The drawback is the email subject is pretty generic.

Might be a work-around.

Thanks Craig! I was thinking that was a way I could do it, but preferred if the rows were sent separately instead of grouped like Nofications are. Might be the only way at the moment though. Thanks for your input!

You could also add a third party app like Zapier - trigger the change from Smartsheet and send the email via Zapier.
