Autopopulating contacts using vlookup
Hi,
I have a sheet with several formulas, including a =vlookup on a text cell and =Join (). All these formulae autopopulate when a new row is added manually of via a form submission.
However, I also have a contact column which, while successfully pulling the contact information into the cell using a =vlookup function, is not autopopulating the =vlookup formula when subsequent rows are added.
There are at least two rows of formulas above....
Any suggestions as to why this might not be working would be much appreciated!
Thanks

Are the formulas identical?

Hi,
The formulas that are autopopulating on new row entries are-
=[column name]1+1
=vlookup($[Column name]$1, reference table,3,false) returning a text value in a text column
=JOIN([Column name]:[Column Name])
The formula/s which are not autopopulating on the same new row entries are-
=vlookup($[Column name]$1, reference table,8,false) returning a contact value in a contact column
So the difference seems to be the column type being a contact list?

It could be a bug spawning from the fact that formulas in contact columns are still new.
I second Andree's suggestion of getting in touch with Support.
