Status change and day counter

Hi all,

Is there a formula I can use so that when I change a status in one of the columns, a day counter in another column returns to 1 and starts counting? For example, if I have an entity in "processing" and in another column the number of days it has been in that status, when I change it from "processing" to "complete" that the counter in the other cell will return to 1 and being counting the days in that status?

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's a great idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

As a workaround, you could use a third-party service like Zapier or the Smartsheet API. Is that an option.

The other option would be to add in an additional column where you can manually enter the date of the change and have your counter reference that cell.
