highlight today's date

I've just begun using SmartSheet and like it a lot, but it seems as though my team and I keep running into the same problem in various contexts when using Gantt view.

Specifically: It's hard to find today's date. Every time we open a sheet, we first need to make sure we KNOW today's date, and then we spend a couple of seconds scrolling around in the Gantt chart until we get to it. Not deadly, but a pain.

Setting sheets to open to today's date doesn't help:

How about, at the very least, making today's date stand out somehow in Gantt view? Bright yellow, bright red, something like that, so that our scrolling can take a little less time?
