Microsoft PowerBI
Hi All,
I just started using the data connector for Power BI and it is pretty slick. The one problem I'm having is that in smartsheet columns are formatted as text/number but can't be defined as a number only, power BI does not recognize these fields as numeric so it can't perform additional calculations on the data such as sum, average, etc.
Has anyone found this with any of the other data connectors? Is there a workaround that doesn't involve exporting the sheet to excel?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Just following up as I have found the solution for this. In PowerBI desktop you need to select Edit Queries as per the below screen shot,
This does not affect the Smartsheet, only how BI queries the data.
