Automation update request failed to work

Hi There

It’s several days the I’m trying to create an automatic workflow without success.

 

Flow explanation:

I want smart sheet will sent an daily request to person (wrote in contact List…) to fill specifics cells in case it’s Blank.

 

It’s look very simple but unfortunately it doesn’t work for me.

 

I’m really thanks for advice here, what need to do to make it work?

Hi Andree, thanks for stay with me on this case.

I made some progress during last days and i fined an solution for update request automation.

My problem now is how doing auto refresh to TODAY() cell, i must date automatically update in order to trigger the update request in my automation flaw.

Do you have any solution for me, please :-)

Sure thing!

There are two ways.

1. A daily update request that would update all sheets when submitted
2. Zapier workflow to automate it completely

Which option would you prefer?

1st, thanks for your interesting, finally i solved the zapier problem and i got my automatic refresh that I’m looking for, but I’m still have some small issue:

- I save an template from my sheet and i'm wont Automation Permission will stay "Unrestricted" the default is "Restricted"

- Should i always share the new sheet created from the template, there's an way to keep permanent Share list in template to be implement in each new sheet creating from this template?
