Make Collapse ALL default

I have clients with indented children. Everytime I come to the sheet the children are fully expanded. How do I make Collapse ALL the default setting? Matters not if I save it as collapsed.

I'm still having this (quite annoying) issue. Any word on if this is in the works to be resolved? Filters are phenomenal, but I hate clicking the drop down then clicking collapse all each time. In order of personal preference, either A) allow a sheet specific setting for collapse all, expand all, or last save by default a keyboard shortcut for expand/collapse all C) a single button on the main menu dedicated to collapse all.

This is still happening for me as well and it is a defect according to one of Smartsheet's consultants. We were video conferencing about something else & I showed him what was happening (I collapsed some parents, saved, went to another sheet, came back to the sheet & they were all expanded again - and it wasn't a sheet anyone else would have been in.). He said he was going to look into it, but I haven't heard back.

Please fix this...please?!

Personally, i'd be happy if the sheets opened as I saved and closed them last, which would probably suit you guys mostly too?

Same here. Very annoying. This is a sheet that is not shared but filtering is in place.

Please can we have an update on this problem? I need filters and I need my sheet to stay as collapsed when I save it.

Also greatly affected! I have a weekly presentation to my bosses using my Smartsheet, and it really affects the flow of my presentation when I have to collapse the many parent rows after each filter.

I also find this annoying, SS should retain the last status, if collapsed when saved or after filter applied or turned off.
