Form to collect Free Text Updates to a main project line task

I am trying to create a form to send to each of my SMEs that will allow them to send a free text update to the line item on my project plan they are responsible for.  I have created columns that has a date for each day for a couple of weeks, and I was hoping to create a form that would dump their free text into that field.  I might be approaching this backwards though.
