In MS Excel, you can use the Data Bars feature under the Conditional Formatting menu to create data bars within the cells. These can represent % Progress (see attached example). Is there a feature in Smartsheet that allows this?

The Progress Bar under the Visual symbols is in 25% increments depending on selection of "quarter, half........". Can this show the actual numerical values and represented by the filling of the bar?

    Hello,

As you mentioned, the progress bar (under the Symbols column) is incremented by 25%. There currently isn't a way to change this so that the actual percentage is displayed, but this would be a great opportunity to submit a Product Enhancement Request to let our Product team know that you'd like to have this functionality in Smartsheet.

Another way to visually display the % Complete, is by switching the sheet to Gantt View —a progress bar will appear within the task bar (if the % Complete column has been assigned and contains values). You could also change the display label to the % Complete column.

To change the display label you'll want to edit the Project Settings, select Timeline Display, and select the % Complete column under "Display label for". If needed, more information on this can be found in our help article: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/765737-project-sheet-columns-start-date-end-date-duration-complete-and-predecessors
