I am using Smartsheet with several vendors who are testing and comparing legacy solution with new product. I have a checkbox column setup to identify potential defects. Can I have a column that only auto-numbers on a condition that a defect has been identified?
Hi Jonathan, i'm not aware of any way to do this in Smartsheet so I suggest you spend your time on making those Issue Rows more easy to notice/identify/act upon, for example by using Reports that only show "issues" of Defects. That should get you what you need which is high level visibility?
