How to Edit an existing Template

Is there a way to Edit and Save an existing Template?

 

It appears the only way is to create a sheet from the Template, edit the sheet, save it, and then Save As a template. It's cool if that is what is required, but wondering if I'm missing a more direct way

Just curious if this is still an option that is being developed. This question was asked back in '15 and there is a whole series of responses asking for this type of functionality. I am rather new to smartsheets, but is there still the ability for community requested features to be added?

Hi Patrick,

Usually, Smartsheet doesn't comment on possible coming features.

My recommendation would be to:

submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment to have your vote added
