Workspace "cover page"
Would anyone find it useful to have a cover page for Workspaces that, when the workspace is first opened (or every time it's opened), you see a rich text explanation of what that Workspace is for and how a person could or should interact with the sheets, reports, or dashboards inside?
because I could find that useful. :)

Hi Brian,
Great idea! That would be a great addition to Smartsheet features.
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic day!

In the mean time...
You may be able to create a dashboard with a rich text widget explaining everything along with a link to the workspace. Obviously it has it's drawbacks in that people would need to access this dashboard first such as setting it as a bookmark instead of the workspace itself.
You could also use some kind of directory that has a link to each of these "coversheet" dashboards on it and have people access everything from the directory.

@Paul Newcome Great ideas!
I've actually done something similar to this this and also added the instructions to the Workspace Attachment Section or you could add it to the comment section.

I usually attach them to the workspace then create a sheet or dashboard titled "1. START HERE" (to keep it at the top of the list in the workspace). Then in the sheet or dashboard I include the instructions again as well as attach them to the sheet/dashboard and include a list of everywhere the instructions can be found since I also keep a copy on our internal shared drive. Having the instructions everywhere as well as referencing them over and over again means people are more likely to read/follow them.
