Request an Approval - Timing
We are trying to implement some new procedures for 2020, one being to have Account Managers approve all time and expense entries by our team for our various clients.
I just tried to create a new Workflow to have a Request an Approval that would allow the AM to be notified Daily to review, comment, approve all entries for that day.
To my surprise and dismay, I receive a message that Request an Approval cannot be used with Hourly, Daily or Weekly timing if there is additional action to be taken, such as notify the Employee/Contractor that their entry has been disapproved.
Isn't this a basic need?
We do NOT want to have the AM's notified every time an entry is made as this could result in many, many, many notifications each day for multiple clients sheets.
AM's requested Daily or Weekly notifications so they not be interrupted multiple times throughout their day, but just address it in one single review.
