Hi there, can somebody tell me what's wrong with the automation below.
Note that the select contact is Contact (can't get it in the screenshot.
I have submitted a blank form and waited for the alert - none came.
Then I checked the Trigger box - still no email?

Check your personal settings/notifications in Smartsheet to see if "email" has been selected.

I saw some old posts regarding the issue of notifications not showing up.
They suggest...
- Checking Junk Folder
- Cloning the notification and deleting the old one
- Some notifications require the sheet to be opened for the trigger to fire. The post doesn't indicate which.

Could you provide a screen capture of the sheet (block out any sensitive data) and a picture of the rest of the workflow?

The trigger that requires the sheet to be opened most likely involves the TODAY() function being used as the TODAY() function does not update until the sheet is activated by opening it or through updated cross sheet references or cell links, form entries, update requests, etc.
