Enhancement Request - Ability to Edit Templates

Requesting the ability to modify a template directly and re-save or save-as.  It's a pain to go to an existing sheet, copy, strip all the data, resave, etc.

    The process should be:

     

    1. Open Template, Use Template / Save as New

    2. Modify the original

    3. Save as Template.

    4. Delete the old one

     

    Only drawback is no version history, but that has been handled by others using some naming schemes.

    This skips the strip all data step.

  • Hi Jeremy—J. Craig is correct, that's currently the easiest process for editing a template, when needed.

     

    I'll get your vote down for a way to edit a template directly without having to create a new template.
