How to populate dropdown value list from another sheet

Has there been any progress on this enhancement?

Let me make sure that I'm not getting the request wrong. My scenario is that I want to have a master drop down list and anytime that list changes all other smartsheets with that same drop down list (column) needs to be updated/duplicated.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• It's possible to use the premium app, Data Shuttle, to keep the dropdown lists synced.
