Cross-Sheet COUNTIFS help

Hi,

What if i am in a another KPI sheet and want to reference the below sheet and want to count the tasks in the "Marquee Program" column with children?

Like:

Advance Marketing Competencies = 3

Embed Next-gen Processes 7 Tools = 4

Reference sheet

Desired result

Botched formula on the Desired result sheet:

=COUNTIFS({Takeda Commercial Capabilities Range 4}, IF(@cell, [Primary Column]@row),Count(children(@cell)))

Not getting the desired result. Can anyone assist?

Hi @jamalkhalid79936,

The CHILDREN function doesn't currently support references from other sheets. When you have a moment, submit a Product Enhancement Request to let our Product team know that you'd like to have this functionality in Smartsheet.

I would suggest creating a formula that counts the number of children rows for each parent row (in the source sheet) and then create a cell link to the destination sheet.
