Use a form to trigger a new project

I'm trying to automate the onboarding process for new hires. Here's what I want to accomplish:

We hire a new employee, the manager fills out a Smartsheet form and based on that form it starts an Onboarding Project sheet that is a template.

Can I do that? If so, how?

Hi,

I’d recommend creating a solution with the main intake sheet and then have another sheet that you’d use as a template and then with the help of VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH to link them together.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
