How can i stop approvers from getting confirmation emails after approving a form?

When an approver approves a form, I notice they receive notification emails of what they have approved...this does not serve any purpose in my opinion...can I stop this? Approvers in my organization have complained of these extra emails clogging their mailbox. Thanks

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to opt out, but it's an excellent idea!

PLEASE GIVE US A WAY TO STOP THE CONFIRMATION EMAILS.

I am using the "Request an Update" workflow for Leadership to perform updates on a weekly basis, and they too are complaining about getting the "Update Confirmation" emails. PLEASE give us a way to turn those off. There is a checkbox they can check if they want to see what they submitted. The biggest complaint I get is TOO MANY EMAILS, and this one is definitely not needed.

I will also submit an enhancement request.
