Automatically scroll Gantt chart to view task?

Hi

I'm wondering if there is a function to automatically scroll the Gantt chart to view a task in a particular row?

For example, if I have a task that is 6 months away from today (and the Gantt chart is currently showing today plus the next 3-4 weeks in day view), it would be really useful to jump to a selected task so that I can see it and the tasks around it, without having to scroll around or zoom right out to find it.

Currently there isn't a function to automatically jump to that date in the Gantt view - please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment!

Back when this was posted the only way to submit Enhancement Requests was through a form, which went to the Product team but was private.

We now have a new way where you can submit Community posts in the Product Ideas section to vote on! Feel free to browse the Product Ideas section to see if any of the current ideas match your request, or if they don't, create your own Idea!
