Im new to forms. I am trying to setup an "entered date" that defaults to the date the person makes the request and cannot be changed. The date field does not have a "today" button and no information about how this is done. This should be incredibly easy to do...

If you add the System Column called, Created and then the formula =Created@row in the date column.

You'll have the formula in two rows before or after the submitted form for it to auto-fill and work.

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

You’ll have to set that on the sheet with a formula instead.
