Changes to a resource’s allocation percentage do not affect duration

Hi all ,

As a project manager , I am trying to use smatsheet and project settings functionality . But resource management appears to be undevelopped .

Is there any enhancement about this big issue : " Changes to a resource’s allocation percentage do not affect duration " .

I can see that all the community is expecting a solution .

I heard about " 10 000 ft by SMARTSHEET " which is supposed to adress resources issues . Do you know how to use it to solve the problem ?

The allocation percentage is something you can set if multiple resources are allocated to the same task. For example, if you and I were both working on Task 1, I might give us each 50% of the task, or perhaps give you 90% and myself 10%.

However, if there is just one resource for the task, then you will want that resource to be at 100%.

If you are looking to split up that task to multiple, smaller sections, you can set up the way you organize the task with child rows to show this.
