Im new to this.
If we have one resource alloocated over several sheets and
in one sheet/project the resource is required for an extra day,
How do we link so that all associated sheets dates are updated?

What do you mean by "link"?
If you have set up Resource Management in all of the associated sheets, then the Resource will show overallocated in all sheets for that day, if they are indeen overallocated.
If by link, you mean dependencies, then that won't show up - the task will go on regardless of whether the task performers are over or under allocated.
