Workflow permissions

Is there a way to enable someone to approve/decline a request (i.e. a PTO request) without giving them access to the entire sheet? I'd love to create several approval workflows for PTO, Expenses etc, but if i have to share the entire sheet with anyone who would interact with the approval process then it is useless functionality, at least for this purpose.

It appears that i also need to share the sheet with anyone who would even receive a notification Why!?

Am i missing an option re permissions?

Hi Thomas,

Yes, there is. You can use Approval Workflows, and the Approver doesn't need to have access to the sheet.

You can change the permissions in the Automation section.
