I want only certain parent rows and their children in my report. How can I accomplish this?

I have an Action Item Registry grid sheet with multiple projects. Each project is a parent with several children categories. I am creating a report at the project level and want to pull information from the Action Item Registry, but only for the specific project. How can I filter a parent row and all of its children, while excluding other parents, into my report?

Not sure if I am totally clear on your question here, but one simple way to be able to select certain rows (whether they are parent rows or not), is to have a checkbox column that you can use to designate the rows to report on. Does that meet your requirement?
