Publish to Google Calendar dates should published as "available"

Hi all,

we publish a smartsheet calendar with holiday entries of all colleagues to a google calendar.

Unfortunately these dates are shown as "busy" (not avaliable) which is not true for the holidays of my colleagues.

Where can I change this?

Hi,

I assume you have a sheet probably named "Vacations" where every row has a contact column for the person and at least a start date and an end date column for the vacation. If you connect this sheet to a Google calendar, you get an additional calendar in your google account showing the rows in your sheet.

In my understanding somebody on vacation is not available which is expressed in the Google calendar as "busy".

What's wrong with that? I think there must be more to the problem.

Hi Stefan,

thanks for your suggestion, I thought that the buys vacation dates will be shown for others as my busy dates, which is not the fact.
