Required Fields in Forms and Default Value

Hi all,

I've run into somekind of strange behaviour on the Form I've developed and was wondering if anyone had any insight into this.

Can I make a field required with a default value? It seems that by inputting a default value on the form field, the user is able to submit the form without having to change that value.

It's disappointing that the two cannot co-exist.

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to combine them, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment
