Workflow becomes invalid after each trigger.
Hi,
I am also facing the same issue. I have set the triggering point to Modified date which is Auto/System Generated Date Column. This is so because my requirement was whenever any changes are done in form, approval request should get triggered. Since we are not sure, what column user is going to change, we kept the triggering point to modified date. But workflow is getting invalid after each trigger. I have too enable it each time or edit and save.
Request your help.

Are you able to provide a screenshot of how the automation is set up?

If I am using any column other then modified date, it doesn't get invalid. But my requirement is workflow should be triggered irrespective of which column user edits. So i can not give any particular column name. Giving all the column names in trigger does not sound good. Since modified date column is updated each time users edits something, i have set it as a trigger point.

What about the rest of your automation? I don't think that the trigger is what is causing it to fail.

If am giving any other than modified date, it is working fine each time. For modified date column, workflow is triggered for the first time and then becomes invalid.

It is odd that would cause an issue. I have used that column as a trigger in the past with no issues.
Try this...
Create a text/number column, then enter the following formula into it:
=[Modified Date]@row + ""
Then set your trigger for whenever this new column changes and see if that makes a difference.
