Update Request email text is not sending
Hello. I have an automation setup to send update requests to others in my team. The automation itself works fine with the conditions that I have outlined, but the issue is that the email notification text I have entered doesn't send to SOME of the recipients. We are all in the same org.
This is causing a problem as I have entered instructions on what I need updated in the email body. It appears that the email text is only showing when there is only a single row to update. When there are multiple (as is normally the case), it does not. See attached screen shots.
We all have the same domain, contacts are SS users in the same org. Opening the update form itself does not fix the issue.

Happy to help!
You can add general information that isn't using the placeholder feature.
Would that work/help?

Hi @Natalia
It’s because there are multiple rows. If I remember correctly, it has to be a trigger that is immediately for it to work.
Make sense?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

That is correct. For placeholders to work the trigger must be an immediate one.

Thanks Andree and Paul - if I understand correctly, the text isn't coming through because I have the automation 'scheduled' vs 'when triggered'? Is there a way around this? How do I convey the instructions in this case?
