Approval Workflow - Send to contacts in a cell

Hello, I am creating an Approval Workflow with "Unrestricted" Automation Permissions so that the approval request can be sent to any email. The Requestor is prompted to enter the "Approver Email" within the request form.

When creating the workflow under "Request an approval" I have selected "Send to contacts in a cell" but I am unable to select the contact field (it says "no results found"). The column name in the sheet is "Approver Email" so I was expecting to select this column as the contact field.

Any ideas what I'm doing incorrectly??

Make sure that the Approver Email columns is a contact type column.

That did the trick, thank you! The column properties needed to be set as "Contact List" (without an actual list). I appreciate your help.
