Can I remove the "initiative" level in the OKR template set with out breaking any built in formulas?
I am wanting to use the OKR template for tracking my individual Objectives and Key results. I find the added "initiative" layer in the Objective worksheet to be unnecessary and distracting. If I outdent my KRs and delete the initiative level- will the template set still function as intended?

Hi @gcuringa,
In reviewing the OKR dashboard that comes with the template set, I'm not seeing anything on there that specifically links out to the parent-level "Initiative" rows. The "Status" section of the dashboard uses Metric widgets that are used to pull in the "Health" status ball listed on row 1 of the "Objective" sheets and the source Reports in the Report widgets are looking for "Health", "Status", and "Type" values on the child rows in each sheet.
I tested this with the "Objective 1 Worksheet" and after outdenting the child rows and deleting the "Initiative" rows, I found that nothing was changed on the dashboard. You might want to create a copy of the template set first to test this out on your end but the changes you're looking to make shouldn't negatively impact the dashboard or other template set items. To create a copy of the Template Set, right click the name of the folder in the lefthand side panel in the Home are of your account and select "Save as New".
In the Save as New window, I recommend leaving the "Newly created sheets" radio button selected.
Visit the Copy a Folder or Workspace Help article for more information on copying a folder.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Ben
