How can I set up an approval workflow for items like blogs with multiple editors, which can move a document or task from one editor to the next in line?

Also, is there a way to set up tasks when those editors need to approve items, with deadlines? Say when Editor #1 is done and indicates an "approval", can I set a task that will alert editor 2 and tell them they need to respond by X business days later?

Have you looked at the Proofing capability in Smartsheet?

It seems like the Proofing and Approval feature combined with the Automated Approval feature would be the perfect solution.

To answer the second question as well. Yes, you can set that up with the Automated Approval feature, but I'd recommend starting with the Proofing feature to see how long it takes you in the process.
