Changing Status Based on Another Sheet
Is there a way to link a cell from sheet A to respond to a change in Sheet B?
For example, if I change a cell in sheet B to "under review by editor" could I change a corresponding cell in sheet A to "In Edits"

I think this can be done by cell linking. If you cell link the two cells it will always display whatever is in sheet B. But this would required manual linking of cells.

If you do not want to do a manual linking of the cell, use the new Column Formula feature to use another sheet as a reference and do a if red then red, etc.

You could do what @NBurrus is suggesting with a VLookup or an Index/Match combination where something in the intial row compares to the data in your other sheet and returns the info you suggested.

If you have access to the engage data here this video does an excellent job of highlighting both formulas.
