Gannt Chart Task View

I'm in construction and have a project schedule Gannt in Smartsheets. I'm trying to find a way to list everything in a flat view or "task list" and export. Essentially, so I can simply look down the start date column, find the date I want and see what it going on that day. This also means flattening the hierarchy's so there are no subtasks.

I've also created a custom column title Trade that I input what trade is doing that task (mason, electrician, plumber, etc.) I'd like to also sort and/or filter this flattened view by the trades so that I can easily see all the tasks that plumber has and when. Or, I can send the plumber a filtered list with just his Tasks, start date, and end date.

Any help on this?

I'd recommend using filters or/and reports.

Thanks Andree. It appears that creating a Report for this and just changing the Sheet Name referenced would work well.

I have a column created called "Divisions" which indicates the type of trade performing the work. Ex. Drywall, electrical, plumbing. Is there a way to filter the report by these? So I could run a report that only shows the Electrical Start and End Dates, or the Electrical and Plumbing Start and End Dates?

I assume you've already found that you can set criteria to filter further what's shown in the report.
