Has anyone encountered old data being displayed in smartsheet when opening the sheet?

I am working on a sheet edited by a global team.

I have been shown screenshots of where the cell will display X, but the history of the cell with show it as being Y. Then they can exit the sheet, go back in and it displays the correct data.

Has anyone encountered this before or able to offer an explanation or solution?
